• We are not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal advice — ClauseLine provides data, benchmarks, and contract information so you can make your own decisions.
• You own your contract data. You can delete it at any time. We auto-delete uploaded contract text after 90 days.
• Don't abuse the service, don't share your account, and don't upload other people's contracts without their permission.
• Paid purchases (analyzer reports, bundles) carry a 7-day no-questions-asked refund — email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.

1. Who we are

ClauseLine is operated by Clauseline LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its principal place of business at 1603 Capitol Ave, Ste 415 #235101, Cheyenne, WY 82001. References to “ClauseLine,” “we,” “our,” or “us” mean Clauseline LLC. References to “you” mean the person using the service.

2. What the service does

ClauseLine reads physician employment contracts and reports back on terms, market benchmarks, and risk factors. We compare your contract against publicly-available physician compensation data and our own structured library of contract clauses. The output is information — you decide what to do with it.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll do our best to give notice for material changes, but the service is offered as-is.

3. Not legal advice

ClauseLine is a software tool. It is not a law firm, not a lawyer, and does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Our reports, benchmarks, checklists, and any commentary on contract language are informational. They are not legal advice and should not be relied on as such.

Contract law varies by state. Physician employment terms vary by specialty, employer type, and market. These materials are informational and are not a substitute for legal advice.

4. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your account. If you think someone else has accessed your account, email support@clauseline.com and we'll help you secure it.

You must be 18 or older to use ClauseLine. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

5. Acceptable use

When using ClauseLine, you agree not to:

• Upload contracts that aren't yours, or that you don't have permission to analyze
• Use the service to violate any law or to harm anyone
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our benchmarks, datasets, or proprietary analysis
• Resell, republish, or redistribute reports or data we generate for you
• Misuse the service in any way that interferes with others using it

6. Pricing and payment

Current paid offerings include the ClauseLine Analyzer ($97 one-time), the Complete Bundle ($197 one-time), the Resident Bundle ($167 one-time), and program-level licenses for residency programs. Prices are in U.S. dollars and shown at checkout. We may add, remove, or adjust offerings; the version on the checkout page at the time of purchase governs.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card data.

Refund policy: Paid reports and bundles carry a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. Email support@clauseline.com within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. After that window, email us and we'll work it out case-by-case. Stripe handles disputed charges directly.

7. Your contract data

The contract text and supporting information you upload is yours. You grant ClauseLine a limited license to process it solely to produce your report. We do not reuse your contract for benchmarking, research, or any other purpose without your explicit opt-in.

Uploaded contract text is auto-deleted after 90 days. You can delete your data sooner by emailing support@clauseline.com — see our Privacy Policy for the full handling detail.

8. Our intellectual property

The ClauseLine brand, software, benchmarks, contract clause library, report formats, and educational content are owned by Clauseline Holdings LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law, owned or licensed by Clauseline LLC and its affiliates. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the service. You don't get ownership of our IP by using the product.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as-is” and “as available.” We make no warranties — express, implied, or statutory — about accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, beyond what cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.

Benchmarks are based on third-party compensation data and our own analysis. Compensation markets change. Treat all numbers as informational, not predictive of any specific offer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Clauseline LLC, its affiliates, owners, officers, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that creates legal or operational risk for ClauseLine or other users. Sections about IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, unless we both agree in writing to resolve it by arbitration or another forum.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
